About Us.....

01454.info is a completely independent Business Directory Service based in the North of Bristol.

We originally started a community web site for the North of Bristol called bs34.com, we wanted to include a Business Directory for local Businesses to list their details so people could find services they needed locally.

This worked well, but the site was becoming more and more Directory orientated as we wanted to offer these services to a wider group rather than just in the BS34 area.

This is why we set up 01454.info, a Business Directory that covered a wider area, in and around the South Gloucestershire area. That way people could find more companies locally that could provide a service to them.

When we planned this site we looked at the various ways that other directories worked, the way that when you searched you get annoying adverts which pop up everywhere, and companies that are over the other side of the world offering you ways to make money. And some even wanting you to register, or even pay to search their databases.

With all this in mind people who use our site can find what they need when they want without pop ups and loads of useless advertising.

For a lot of these directories it was not just the users that suffered, the companies that wanted to list their details, were charged a small fortune to add their details to an untidy, unmanaged web page, that didn’t even get hits.

We currently offer a completely free listing in our Business Directory as long as it is within our terms and conditions.
